Print solutions for start-ups & inventors

Select and produce the next useful physical deliverable: initial prototype, variant to compare, test identification or presentation kit. PowerPrint supports progress from an idea to a clear demonstration using the function, dimensions, files, quantities, variants and deadlines, without promising industrialisation.

DO YOU HAVE A FILE OR SPECIFICATION?

Describe the problem being solved, intended use of the prototype, dimensions, quantity, deadline, level of finish and available files. Distinguish every item or area and attach any available photographs, plans, sketches, logos or files so that the workshop can identify missing information.

Request a quote

The quote and schedule are confirmed only after the supplied items, files, quantities and constraints have been assessed.

NEED HELP DEFINING THE PROJECT?

DOES YOUR STARTING POINT STILL NEED TO BE DEFINED?

Explain the problem, decision to support and next test. The workshop can define a prototype from a sketch or file, version markers, test packaging or demonstration signage, without including certification, industrialisation, mass production or a critical part.

Have my project assessed

No choice of item, material, compatibility or method is assumed before the project is reviewed.

Our commitments

  • First response within 1 working hour
  • Workshop in Luxembourg
  • Typical lead time: 10–14 days · Express: 24/72 h, subject to feasibility
  • A direct point of contact for your project

MAKE THE IDEA TESTABLE AND PRESENTABLE

The approved items make the project testable and understandable without claiming to deliver a final product.

• Initial prototype from a sketch, dimensions and functional description
• Prototype or 3D part from an available file, for a non-critical use
• Version, status or identification stickers on prototypes and sample boxes
• Labels for test packaging, dummy bottles, pilot boxes or demonstration kits
• Demonstration signage for a trade show, demo day, competition or public presentation

Every version, function, file and context of use is documented.

CHOOSE THE NEXT USEFUL DELIVERABLE, NOT THE MOST COMPLEX

Production gives one version of the concept physical form; it does not constitute industrialisation, production capacity, type approval, certification, regulatory or safety approval, or suitability of the final product. Structural or critical parts, or those subject to undocumented performance requirements, are excluded.

PowerPrint does not provide intellectual-property advice. Full wraps and drone skins without an identified model, fake logos and invented compliance wording are also excluded.

Your questions — Print solutions for start-ups & inventors

Can I contact you if my idea has not yet been modelled?

Yes. Send a sketch, dimensions and an explanation of the intended use; we will identify the elements required to continue the assessment.

Can you also prepare presentation items?

Yes, when they support a defined demonstration or launch. Stickers, labels, garments, image prints or signage elements can be assessed as additions, using the supplied items, formats, quantities and files.

Do you produce a one-off part before a small batch?

Yes, this process can be assessed. The feasibility and conditions of a series will be evaluated once the part and its intended use have been defined.

What information is required when the project is still at an early stage?

Explain the problem being addressed, expected function, known dimensions, elements already available and what you want to observe with the initial prototype. A sketch may be enough to begin the discussion.

Does a produced prototype validate the product for final use?

No. The prototype gives one version of the concept physical form; it does not constitute industrialisation, type approval, certification, regulatory approval, a guarantee of safety or strength, or suitability for final use. Structural or critical parts are excluded.

How can different project versions be kept distinct?

Assign a name or number to every version and link it to the corresponding file, dimensions and date. Only the version explicitly selected should be used for production.

What lead time should be allowed for a start-up's next physical deliverable?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the function, dimensions, files, content and other required elements. The exact schedule depends on the prototype, variants, test markers and demonstration items.

Can a demonstration prototype be assessed for express production?

An express option within 24 h or 72 h can be assessed only subject to feasibility, for a clearly defined, non-critical deliverable, depending on its geometry, files, preparation and workshop availability. It is never guaranteed before confirmation.
