THE SHAPE, MATERIAL AND USE ARE ASSESSED TOGETHER

A shape intended for decoration, an event, a model or creative work cannot be assessed on screen alone. Its dimensions, level of detail, handling and context of use guide the material to assess and preparation of the outline. State your preference if you have one, without considering it approved before the project has been examined.

Materials that are genuinely compatible depend on the shape, dimensions and available equipment. The workshop confirms the possibilities when quoting and assumes no resistance, outdoor, food, structural or safety properties.

TURN AN IDEA INTO A FEASIBLE CUTTING OUTLINE

A vector file can make assessment easier, but a clear drawing, pattern or reference photograph can also help explain the intention. They must be accompanied by the final dimensions and required result. Very fine details, small cut-outs, angles and isolated elements are checked according to the proposed material and actual size.

If the starting point needs redrawing, simplifying or converting into a cutting outline, the required preparation is specified before production. Complete design, exact reproduction from a photograph or unlimited corrections are not automatically included.

Which materials can you cut?

The material is approved according to the intended use, shape, dimensions, level of detail and available equipment. State your preference and required result; the workshop will specify the options that can actually be assessed in the quote.

Can I start with a drawing, pattern or photograph?

Yes, these materials can provide a starting point for explaining the shape. Send a clear reference with the required dimensions. The workshop will then specify the preparation required; exact reproduction or complete design is not assumed.

Are very small details possible?

This depends on the material, outline and final size. Fine lines, small cut-outs, angles and isolated elements are checked before quoting. Simplification may be required and must be approved before production.

Can I request a one-off piece or small run?

Yes. A one-off piece or small run can be assessed according to the shape, material, dimensions, quantity and lead time. For several versions, state the dimensions and quantity of each clearly.

How do I choose the material for my creative cut-out?

Describe the final use, handling, environment and required appearance, then state the proposed material if you have one. The workshop checks what can be offered; no particular property or regulatory compatibility is confirmed without an explicit assessment.

Is file preparation automatically included?

No. The starting point is examined and any required adaptations are specified before production. Simple preparation can be assessed, but complete graphic design, complex vectorisation or several rounds of revisions are not included without explicit agreement.

What lead time should I allow for a creative cut-out?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the required materials. A 24 h or 72 h express option can be considered only subject to feasibility, the material, shape, dimensions, quantity, outline preparation and workshop workload.

Which rights do I need for the supplied drawing or reference?

You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for the supplied files, logos, patterns, characters, artworks, brands or photographs to be used and reproduced. An AI-generated image may illustrate an intention, but its defects and rights must also be checked before any preparation.
