CUSTOM LABELS · LUXEMBOURG

Custom labels

Custom labels for presenting a product, identifying packaging or organising equipment. PowerPrint assesses the intended substrate, dimensions, quantity, text and artwork before production in its Luxembourg workshop. Legibility at final size and the allocation of different versions are checked before quoting.

HAVE YOU ALREADY DEFINED YOUR LABELS?

State the intended use, surface, dimensions, quantity and conditions of use. Add the graphic file or text to display, and list each design with its quantity when an order contains several versions.

Request a quote

The legibility and preparation of each version are confirmed after the supplied materials have been examined.

NEED ADVICE?

UNSURE ABOUT THE FORMAT OR AVAILABLE AREA?

Send a photograph of the product, packaging or item with the dimensions of the available area. State the information that must appear and its order of importance; the workshop can assess legibility and identify any missing elements.

Have my labels assessed

An approximate format and provisional content are enough to begin the assessment.

A LABEL SUITED TO ITS SUBSTRATE

A label for a product, packaging or internal organisation must be defined according to its actual application area. The material, condition and shape of the surface, available dimensions and conditions of use affect the solution to be assessed. A photograph and measurements prevent the artwork from being sized without considering the substrate.

If the project involves particular exposure, describe it in the request. The workshop assesses compatibility using the information supplied without promising universal adhesion, a fixed lifespan or compliance with a regulated use that has not been expressly assessed.

CLEAR, LEGIBLE INFORMATION IN THE RIGHT ORDER

The amount of text, character size, artwork contrast and final dimensions must remain consistent. Content that is legible on screen may become too small once reduced. Supply the approved version of the text and state which elements must be seen first.

For several references, each file must be clearly matched to its wording, dimensions and quantity. The workshop checks graphic and technical consistency before production but does not automatically validate the commercial, legal or regulatory accuracy of the information supplied.

Your questions — Custom labels

Can you produce several label designs within one order?

Yes. Identify each version, its dimensions and quantity, then use unambiguous file names. This allocation allows the workshop to check the versions and prepare a clear quote before production.

How do I choose the size of my label?

Measure the area genuinely available and send a front-facing photograph of the item. State the priority text and elements. The workshop can then assess the space, artwork proportions and legibility at final size before confirming the dimensions.

Can I use the labels on a product or packaging?

Yes, a solution can be assessed according to the surface and intended use. Specify the material of the packaging or product, its condition and shape, and the conditions to which the label will be exposed. Compatibility is confirmed after the project has been assessed.

Who checks the text and information on the label?

You must supply and approve the text, references, contact details and other information to be reproduced. The workshop may point out an obvious legibility or file issue, but does not automatically certify the accuracy or commercial, legal or regulatory compliance of the content.

Which file should I provide for custom labels?

Send the original graphic file or the best version available, along with approved text where necessary. A vector file is preferable for a logo or outline. The workshop checks the resolution, outline, dimensions and legibility before production.

What if my layout is not finished yet?

Send the available content, dimensions of the area and a photograph of the item. The workshop will identify any further technical information required and whether file preparation needs to be scoped. Complete graphic design is not automatically included.

What lead time should I allow for custom labels?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of all required versions and quantities. A 24 h or 72 h express option can be considered only subject to feasibility, the substrate, dimensions, number of designs, quantity, condition of the files and workshop workload.

Can I submit an AI-generated image, and which rights do I need to check?

An AI-generated image can be examined as a starting point, but false text, inconsistent details, irregular outlines and resolution defects must be checked before production. You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for the artwork and any brands, artworks, characters or people depicted.
