INFORMATION UNDERSTOOD AT A GLANCE
A sign must suit the location and distance from which it will be read. The amount of text, character size, contrast, pictogram and information hierarchy are examined together. A larger format does not automatically correct an overly long message or confusing organisation.
For a series, supply the complete list of areas, text, arrows, numbers and quantities. A table matching each item of content to its location allows the formats to be harmonised while preventing mix-ups. Spelling, destinations and arrow directions must be approved before production.
