Print solutions for engineering consultancies

Turn an engineering study into a physical decision process: give a concept form, compare variants, document the iteration and then present the result clearly. PowerPrint assesses models, prototypes, version markers and boards up to A3+ according to the function, dimensions, files, quantities and deadlines.

DO YOU HAVE A FILE OR SPECIFICATION?

State the decision the prototype must support, dimensions and priority measurements, variants, quantity, level of finish and deadline. Attach the identified version of the 3D files, plans, sketches, renders or photographs, together with the wording and formats for any A3/A3+ board.

Request a quote

The quote and schedule are confirmed only after the supplied items, files, quantities and constraints have been assessed.

NEED HELP DEFINING THE PROJECT?

DOES YOUR STARTING POINT STILL NEED TO BE DEFINED?

Describe the question to resolve: volume, footprint, exploratory handling, comparison of variants or presentation. The workshop helps you choose between a model, non-functional prototype, set of variants, identification markers and board up to A3+, without promising a finished part or technical approval.

Have my project assessed

No choice of item, material, compatibility or method is assumed before the project is reviewed.

Our commitments

  • First response within 1 working hour
  • Workshop in Luxembourg
  • Typical lead time: 10–14 days · Express: 24/72 h, subject to feasibility
  • A direct point of contact for your project

GIVE A STUDY PHYSICAL FORM TO VALIDATE IT MORE EFFECTIVELY

The approved items make every iteration identifiable and comparable.

• Volumetric model or presentation prototype of a product, enclosure or equipment
• Set of 3D variants of the same concept
• Non-functional shape model, handle, casing or ergonomic interface
• Identification labels or stickers for prototypes, variants and samples
• A3 or A3+ review board using supplied renders, diagrams or photographs

Every version, function and file is named unambiguously before production.

ADAPT THE PROTOTYPE TO THE QUESTION BEING ASKED

The prototype is not a final functional, structural or safety-related part. PowerPrint guarantees no metrological tolerance, repeatability, material, specific finish, strength, compliance, certification, regulatory test or engineering sign-off.

Very large-format plans and boards are excluded; approved review items are limited to A3+. No production begins without an approved file version, dimensions and feasibility.

Let's talk about your project

Tell us what you need. A member of our workshop team will review your enquiry personally.

  1. You tell us what you're starting with.

  2. We check feasibility and the available options.

Your questions — Print solutions for engineering consultancies

Which files do you accept when assessing a 3D prototype?

Send the files you have with a description of the intended use. We will check whether they are usable and request any missing information.

Can you produce a prototype without a finalised 3D file?

A sketch or dimensioned plans may be enough for an initial assessment. Any design or adaptation requirement will be defined before production.

Are one-off items and small batches possible?

Yes, these volumes can be assessed according to the geometry, dimensions, material and expected finish.

How should important dimensions and tolerances be supplied?

Identify the reference dimensions, priority areas and file version. This information is used to assess the project without guaranteeing technical suitability or tolerance before the production method has been approved.

Can several versions of the same concept be compared?

Yes. Name every version clearly and state the quantity, objective and differences to examine. Every iteration must be linked unambiguously to a file.

Can a prototype, version identification and review board be combined?

Yes. Version stickers or labels and an A3 or A3+ board can be assessed with the prototype if every file, text, format, quantity and version is clearly identified.

What lead time should be allowed for a physical engineering iteration?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the dimensions, file versions, content and other required elements. The exact schedule depends on the geometry, number of variants, level of finish and A3/A3+ boards.

Can a prototype variant be assessed for express production?

An express option within 24 h or 72 h can be assessed only subject to feasibility, depending on the prototype, its dimensions, file, number of variants, preparation and workshop availability. It is never guaranteed before confirmation.
