Adhesive graphics & window lettering

Self-adhesive graphics and lettering for displaying opening hours, your logo, a message or a one-off campaign on a shop window. PowerPrint assesses the glazing, dimensions, viewing distance, duration of use and installation conditions before preparing the project in its Luxembourg workshop. Production only or installation can be quoted according to the location and access.

DO YOU ALREADY HAVE THE DIMENSIONS AND ARTWORK?

State the dimensions of each pane, text or logo, quantity, duration of use, address and preferred date. Add a front-facing photograph, details of the edges, handles or obstacles, and the best file available.

Request a quote

The composition and final dimensions are confirmed after the photographs, measurements and file have been checked.

NEED ADVICE?

DO YOU STILL NEED TO DEFINE THE MESSAGE OR SURFACE?

Send a front-facing view of the shop window, a few dimensions and the message to make visible. We will help you identify the missing information required to assess legibility, the arrangement across the panes and any installation requirement.

Have my shop window assessed

You do not need finished artwork to begin the assessment, but all artwork preparation must be defined before production.

A MESSAGE THAT IS LEGIBLE AT THE RIGHT DISTANCE

A shop window may be viewed from the pavement, street or inside the premises. The viewing distance, amount of text, contrast, glazing dimensions and existing elements therefore affect the composition. Opening hours, contact details and important information must remain ordered and legible without overcrowding the surface.

A front-facing photograph identifies the different glass panels, frames, handles, edges and other obstacles. State the dimensions of each area involved and identify anything that must remain visible. The final arrangement must be checked before production.

CHECK THE GLAZING, DURATION AND INSTALLATION

The choice of self-adhesive graphic or lettering depends on the glazing, proposed position, exposure, duration of use and required result. State whether the graphics are for permanent information or a one-off campaign and whether installation is planned from the inside or outside. The workshop confirms the solution actually available after assessing the surface and project.

Installation is not automatically included. It can be assessed subject to a quote according to the address, height, dimensions, access, obstacles and number of elements. A removal service should not be assumed: if required, state this in the request from the outset so it can be assessed separately.

Your questions — Adhesive graphics & window lettering

Can you produce just the opening hours and logo?

Yes. A project limited to opening hours and a logo can be assessed, as can a more complete composition. State the exact text, available dimensions and point from which the shop window must be read so that the hierarchy and legibility can be checked.

What should I photograph for the shop-window assessment?

Take a front-facing view of the whole window, then close-up photographs of the edges, frames, handles and other obstacles. If several panes are involved, identify them clearly and add the width and height of each. Also state the address and the point from which the message will mainly be seen.

How do I measure a shop window made up of several panes?

Measure the width and height of every glass panel to receive graphics separately, without adding the frames. Match each measurement to a photograph or numbered diagram and identify areas to avoid. Production dimensions are confirmed after the supplied materials have been checked.

Can I choose permanent graphics or a temporary campaign?

Both requirements can be assessed. State the required duration, location, exposure and any removal requirement. The workshop then determines an available solution compatible with the project; neither a lifespan nor ease of removal is assumed before this check.

Are installation and removal included in the quote?

They are not automatic. Installation can be assessed subject to a quote according to the address, height, access, dimensions, glazing and number of elements. If old graphics need removing or the new graphics will need to be removed later, mention this separately in the request from the outset.

Which files should I provide for a logo or lettering?

For a logo, pictogram or lettering, use a vector PDF, SVG, AI or EPS file where possible. A good-resolution PNG or JPG can also be examined. Send the original file rather than a screenshot and provide the text in a copyable form so its spelling can be checked. You must hold the necessary rights to the supplied materials.

Can you work with a composition that is not yet finished?

Yes, photographs, dimensions, text and the logo may be enough to begin the assessment. The workshop will then specify any adaptations or artwork preparation required and whether they need to be included in the quote. No complete graphic-design service is assumed to be included without prior approval.

What lead time should I allow for shop-window graphics or lettering?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the measurements, files and other required materials. A 24 h or 72 h express option can be considered only subject to feasibility, the dimensions, file preparation, quantity, installation constraints and workshop workload.
