PHOTO PRINTING · LUXEMBOURG

Premium photo prints

Premium photo prints that give your images a suitable physical format, from one-offs to small runs and up to A3+. PowerPrint checks the file, format, crop, any margins and required appearance before printing in its Luxembourg workshop. Several papers and finishes can be assessed according to the image and availability.

DO YOU ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOU NEED?

State the format, orientation, quantity, preferred paper or appearance, whether margins are required and the preferred date. Add the original file and, if there are several images, the number of copies of each.

Request a quote

The paper and margin width can still be specified after the file has been checked.

STILL UNSURE ABOUT THE FORMAT OR PAPER?

Tell us how the print will be viewed, displayed or given and the effect you require. We will help you compare the format, file proportions and available paper appearances before confirming the quote options.

A FORMAT THAT SUITS YOUR IMAGE

The file's aspect ratio, resolution and crop determine the format that can genuinely be used. An image that looks sharp on a phone or screen may lack detail once enlarged. Send the largest, least compressed original version you have, without enlarging it artificially.

If the file proportions do not match the required format, you must choose between an explicitly approved crop and retaining the entire image with margins. The selected orientation and crop are checked before production.

THE PAPER CONTRIBUTES TO THE FINAL APPEARANCE

Gloss, satin and matt photo papers reproduce an image differently. The paper surface affects reflections, the perception of blacks, contrast and detail. Options actually available are confirmed when quoting, according to the format, image and required result.

A screen emits light, while a print reflects ambient light. Brightness and some colours may therefore differ according to the screen, file, paper and viewing conditions. The workshop aims for an appearance consistent with the project without promising an absolute colour match.

Your questions — Premium photo prints

Can I order a single photo print or a small run?

Yes. A one-off print or small run can be assessed, using one file or several images. State the number of copies of each artwork so the quote can be prepared correctly.

Which photo-print formats do you offer?

Projects are assessed up to A3+. The appropriate format depends on the file's proportions and resolution, the paper and the required presentation. The final format is confirmed after the image has been checked.

How do I choose the paper or finish?

Describe the image and the effect required: a gloss, satin or matt appearance, with more or fewer reflections, as well as the contrast and intended use of the print. Available papers are assessed against these criteria. The exact option is confirmed when quoting.

Which file and resolution should I provide?

Preferably send the original JPG, PNG or TIFF file, or a PDF if that format suits your artwork. Avoid screenshots and recompressed files. Resolution is assessed according to the final format; do not enlarge the image artificially before sending it.

Will my image be cropped or printed with margins?

No automatic cropping is assumed. If the file's aspect ratio differs from the requested format, the workshop will tell you whether a crop needs approving or whether the entire image should be retained with margins. State your preference in the request if you have one.

Will the print look exactly the same as my screen?

An absolute match between screen and print cannot be promised: brightness, colours and contrast vary according to the file, screen settings, paper and viewing light. The workshop checks whether the file is technically usable, but the service does not include a contract colour proof.

What lead time should I allow for photo prints?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the required materials. A 24 h or 72 h express option can be considered only subject to feasibility, the format, paper, quantity, condition of the files and workshop workload.

Do you accept AI-generated images, and which rights do I need to check?

An AI-generated image can be examined, but it must be checked at final size: insufficient resolution, inconsistent details, false text, artefacts and repeated areas may become visible in print. You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for every image supplied, including any people, brands, characters or artworks depicted.
