Print solutions for architects

Give an architectural concept physical form with an assessed model or prototype, a presentation board up to A3+, and signs or markers suited to the location. PowerPrint defines each deliverable according to its function, scale, dimensions, files, quantity and deadline.

DO YOU HAVE A FILE OR SPECIFICATION?

State which decision the model, prototype, A3/A3+ board or signage must support. Specify the scale, final dimensions, level of detail, priority faces, quantity and deadline; attach the correct version of the 3D files, plans, renders, photographs or approved content.

Request a quote

The quote and schedule are confirmed only after the supplied items, files, quantities and constraints have been assessed.

NEED HELP DEFINING THE PROJECT?

DOES YOUR STARTING POINT STILL NEED TO BE DEFINED?

Describe the review stage and what must be understood: volume, fitting detail, composition, presentation or route. The workshop will help distinguish between a model, prototype, cut part, board up to A3+ and location marker, without assuming structural production or technical compliance.

Have my project assessed

No choice of item, material, compatibility or method is assumed before the project is reviewed.

MOVE FROM PLAN TO OBJECT OR PRESENTATION ITEM

The approved items correspond to specific decision and presentation stages.

• Volumetric model or 3D-printed model element
• Cut parts for a concept model or composition board
• Physical prototype of a fitting detail, handle, assembly or small conceptual item of furniture
• A3 or A3+ presentation board
• Door signs, room signs and pictograms based on approved content

The scale, dimensions, files and actual use determine feasibility.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT LEVEL OF DETAIL FOR EACH USE

A model or prototype gives a concept physical form; it does not guarantee structural accuracy, strength, technical suitability or building compliance. Parts intended for direct use in construction, technical films with guaranteed performance and projects without verifiable files or dimensions are excluded.

Presentation prints are limited to approved formats up to A3+; no large-format plan or board printing is promised.

Your questions — Print solutions for architects

Which files should you provide for a 3D model or prototype?

Send the formats you have and a description of the expected result. We will check whether they are usable and identify any adjustments required.

Can 3D and printed items be combined?

Yes. One request can include a 3D model or prototype, a presentation board or print up to A3+, and signs, lettering or signage elements suited to their context.

Do you produce one-off examples?

Yes, a one-off part or prototype can be assessed, as can a small batch depending on the dimensions and complexity.

How should the scale and level of detail of a model be defined?

State the model's intended use, final dimensions, viewing distance and elements that must remain legible. The workshop will then review the file and identify the feasible level of detail for this assessment.

Which limitations apply to models and presentation items?

The model does not constitute structural approval, certification or a guaranteed complete scale reproduction. Boards are assessed up to A3+; large formats and parts intended for direct use in a building are excluded.

Who must hold the rights to the plans, images and models?

You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for all plans, images, models, logos and other references supplied. PowerPrint does not verify ownership of the intellectual property in this content.

What lead time should be allowed for an architectural model or presentation board?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the scale, dimensions, files, content and other required elements. The exact schedule depends on the geometry, level of detail, format up to A3+ and quantity.

Can an architectural model be assessed for express production?

An express option within 24 h or 72 h can be assessed only subject to feasibility, depending on the model or item, dimensions, file, preparation and workshop availability. It is never guaranteed before confirmation.
