Drone skins & kits

Customise your drone's appearance with a skin or self-adhesive kit assessed for its make, exact model and defined areas. PowerPrint checks the device reference, photographs, surfaces involved, artwork and quantity before preparing the project in its Luxembourg workshop. Compatibility is confirmed case by case: no model or area is assumed to be compatible without checking.

DO YOU KNOW THE MODEL AND AREAS TO CUSTOMISE?

State the drone's make, model and exact reference, required areas, number of kits, artwork or colours and target date. Add clear photographs of the device and the best graphic file available.

Have my model checked

The outline and kit contents are defined only after the model and areas have been checked.

NEED GUIDANCE?

STILL UNSURE ABOUT THE AREAS OR ARTWORK?

Send the drone reference, a few photographs and a description of the required result. The workshop will identify any further information, measurements or files required to define a compatible kit before production.

Have my skin assessed

You do not need finished artwork or a complete set of measurements to request an initial assessment.

A KIT DEFINED FOR THE RIGHT MODEL AND AREAS

Geometry and surfaces vary from one drone to another. An approximate commercial name is therefore not enough: the make, model, exact reference and clear photographs identify the device presented and the areas you want to customise. Further measurements or views may be requested if the initial materials do not allow the project to be checked.

The skin is prepared for the selected areas after this assessment. Being part of the same model range does not guarantee a common outline or automatic compatibility. The kit contents, limitations and any elements to confirm are specified in the proposal before production.

VISUAL CUSTOMISATION, NOT TECHNICAL PROTECTION

Colours, pattern, logo or graphic file must be examined against the available surfaces and required result. Send the best file you have and state what must take priority in the composition. The workshop confirms the possible finishes and adaptations genuinely required after assessment; perfect reproduction of colours displayed on a screen is not assumed.

The service is intended for visual customisation. It promises no protection against impact or water, performance improvement or automatic compliance with the manufacturer's conditions of use or applicable regulations. A kit can be shipped without installation, but ease of application, residue-free removal, compatibility with every surface and reusability are not guaranteed.

Your questions — Drone skins & kits

Which drone models are compatible with a skin or kit?

Compatibility is checked for each project. State the make, model and exact reference, then add clear photographs of the device. Measurements or further views may be requested. No model or area is considered universally compatible.

What information should I provide for the kit assessment?

State the drone's make, model and reference, the areas to customise, number of kits, required result and preferred date. Add clear photographs from several angles, along with the available artwork, logo or colours. The workshop will say whether further measurements or materials are required.

Which file should I provide for the skin artwork?

Send the best file available and state which elements must remain legible or take priority. A vector file can make assessing a logo or outline easier, while a raster image must have sufficient resolution for the intended size. File compatibility is checked after receipt. You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for all supplied logos, images, brands, characters and artworks.

Does the skin protect the drone against impact or water?

No. The service is intended to customise the drone's appearance. No protection against impact or water, performance improvement or particular suitability should be assumed. The owner remains responsible for following the manufacturer's instructions and the rules governing use of the device.

Can every area of a drone be customised?

Not automatically. The required areas are assessed according to the model, its geometry, photographs and required result. The genuinely compatible scope is confirmed in the proposal. Assessing an area does not guarantee compliance with all of the manufacturer's conditions of use.

Can the kit be shipped without installation for me to apply myself?

A kit can be shipped without installation. Its contents and any instructions supplied are confirmed in the proposal according to the approved areas. Difficulty nevertheless depends on the model, shape and surface: easy application for everyone, unlimited repositioning or a flawless result are not promised.

What lead time should I allow for a drone skin or kit?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the reference, photographs, file and other required materials. A 24 h or 72 h express option can be considered only subject to feasibility, the model, areas, quantity, preparation required and workshop workload.

Can the skin be removed without leaving marks or be reused?

Residue-free removal, compatibility with every surface and reusability are not guaranteed. The result depends in particular on the surface, its condition, use and conditions encountered. State any particular constraint before assessment and follow the instructions confirmed for the project.
