A custom stencil based on text, a logo or pattern, adapted to the stated dimensions, surface and application method. PowerPrint assesses the outline, required bridges, material and proposed number of uses before production in its Luxembourg workshop. Each size or version is checked separately before quoting.

AN OUTLINE THAT RETAINS EVERY PART OF THE DESIGN

In a stencil, the inner shapes of a letter, logo or design must remain connected to the whole. Bridges may therefore be added or adjusted to retain these parts after cutting. Their position may slightly alter the artwork's appearance; the adapted outline must be examined and approved before production.

The final size directly affects the details that can be retained. Fine lines, small spaces and closely positioned shapes are checked at every requested dimension, without assuming that the same outline can simply be reduced or enlarged without adaptation.

THE MATERIAL DEPENDS ON THE APPLICATION AND PROPOSED REUSE

The surface, application method, handling and proposed number of uses are used to assess the stencil material. State these details together with the dimensions and context of use. Options actually available are confirmed after the project has been examined.

Whether the stencil can be reused depends on the selected material, application method and care. No reusability, lifespan, compatibility with an application product or performance on every surface can be guaranteed without a precise assessment.

Why do certain logos or letters need adapting?

Inner shapes must remain connected to the rest of the stencil. Bridges may be required to retain them after cutting. Their position and width depend on the design, material and final size, and are approved before production.

Can the stencil be reused?

This depends on the material, application method, handling and care. State the proposed number of uses and exact context. The workshop can then assess a solution without guaranteeing reusability or a universal lifespan.

Can I order several dimensions or designs?

Yes. List each design, each dimension and the corresponding quantity. Because details and bridges may need adapting to the final size, each version is checked separately before quoting.

Which file should I provide for a custom stencil?

A vector file is preferable for a logo, text or pattern, but you can send the best artwork available. The workshop checks the inner shapes, details, dimensions and preparation required. The bridges do not need to have been drawn already.

How is the stencil material selected?

Describe the surface, application method, handling and proposed number of uses. The material is assessed according to this information, the design, dimensions and availability. No option or particular property is confirmed before quoting.

Can very fine details be retained?

This depends on the design, material and final size. Fine lines, small spaces and closely positioned shapes may require simplification or relocation of bridges. The proposed adaptation must be approved before cutting.

What lead time should I allow for a custom stencil?

The usual lead time is 10 to 14 days after project approval and receipt of the required materials. A 24 h or 72 h express option can be considered only subject to feasibility, the material, design, dimensions, quantity, file preparation and workshop workload.

Can I start from an image or AI-generated design?

An image can provide a reference, but it does not automatically provide a usable stencil outline. False text, inconsistent details, inner shapes and outlines must be checked and adapted. You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for every reference supplied.
